I asked my Mom the other day what work I have been doing for the last thirty years.
She was candid, “You take pretty pictures”. I was enamored with her simplicity.

I do try to take pretty pictures, but I also want my photos to evoke an emotion.
Is it the destination, the taste, the look or the mood? These questions stir my passion to shoot.
Whether it is an assignment or my own work, it is always a labor of love.
Pushing to do things right. Carefully, thoughtfully, from the forethought through afterthought
and beyond. From the preshoot arrangements to scouting locations for every permutation of
light and dark, wet and dry, indoors and out.To negotiating with chefs and stylists,
designers and models, art directors and creative directors.
To every facet of follow-up.
We (the studio gang) do it for ourselves and we do it for our clients.
From beginning to end, for as long as it takes.

“We have the sense of timing to catch the sunset, the sense of humor to wade
through the downpour, and the good sense to keep it all in perspective.”
